TK Elevator Sweden focuses on the elevator and escalator market in Sweden. The business is divided into new installations, modernization, service, and repairs. About the Position

In this role, you will be part of a nationwide team responsible for commissioning and completing elevators in both new installations and modernization. You will work to take facilities all the way to approved inspection, where you plan, execute, and document testing, commissioning, fine-tuning, and handling any deviations.

The work takes place at several different job sites and involves programming, parameterization, and optimization of control systems, as well as technical troubleshooting in both electrical and mechanical areas. You are responsible for addressing inspection remarks and ensuring that installations meet applicable quality and safety requirements.

The role also includes checking that subcontractors perform their work according to established quality routines. You will continuously collaborate with assembly, project management, suppliers, the technical department, and accredited inspection bodies for installation, recurring, and revision inspections according to Swedish practice and the EU's elevator directive.

You will participate in both internal and external meetings related to quality, technology, and project execution. The work is home-based with a service vehicle, and you will report to the Project Manager in Malmö, with travel within the region being part of the job.


Examples of Work Tasks

• Lead and conduct Test & Commissioning activities such as checking safety chains, door logic, brake tests, level accuracy, drive systems (VFD/servo), load tests including overload, and functional tests according to standards and manufacturer's procedures.
• Parameterization and programming of control systems (controllers), optimization of operations, and documentation prior to handover to the customer and service organization.
• Preparation and technical coordination prior to third-party inspections, including ensuring complete T&C and CE documentation.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, for example in control cabinets, sensor systems, and emergency communication/telephone, as well as closing deviations together with assembly and subcontractors.

Ensure compliance with the EN 81 series and the elevator directive 2014/33/EU in both practical execution and documentation.

We are looking for someone who has

• Post-secondary education in electrical engineering, automation, or equivalent work experience. (REQUIRED)
• Good knowledge of control and safety systems, including the ability to read electrical schematics and work with elevator controls and drive systems. (REQUIRED)
• Driver's license B. (REQUIRED)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. (REQUIRED)

• Previous experience in Test & Commissioning / commissioning of elevators, in new installations and/or modernization.
• Experience collaborating with inspection bodies such as DEKRA or Kiwa in connection with inspections in Sweden.
• Background in microelectronics or work with advanced data systems and control systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting, measuring, and testing within electrical, automation, or related technical installations.
• Familiarity with applicable standards and regulations, such as EN 81, national building regulations, and inspection practices (installation, recurring, and revision inspections).
